|
|
|
In this episode:
-
Moment with a Master: Sabiha Mujtaba's woodworking is extraordinarily beautiful and organic. Her many influences come alive and look alive in her work. A chair's backrest becomes a snake, while a blanket carved from wood adorns a bench. Sabiha is not only an artist she is an excellent teacher. Hear her story and find out how she creates a project from a vision to reality.
-
Feature: Period Furniture Maker Alf Sharp takes us on a woodworker's tour of the wonderful reproductions he's crafted for President Andrew Jackson's home "The Hermitage." All of this work is a "must see", but the story and a look at his reproduction of George Washington's personal chair is a topper!
-
Popular Woodworking's Tips, Tricks and Techniques: Megan Fitzpatrick gets really fired up for a unique finish!
-
Toolbox: We'll take a look at Leigh's new dovetail jig that uses a router table instead of a hand held router.

LEGENDARY
Wood Slicer Resawing Blades
Just got a 1/2" Wood Slicer for a project. Put it on, re-tuned the band saw and POW! Right out of the box I'm slicing off veneers of hard maple that measure consistently .030". I'm impressed. The blade is everything it's cracked up to be, sharp, consistent, quiet and it leaves a surface that a couple strokes of a scraper will take care of. I'll be back for more. — Doug F
