Here's My Stuff!

These are photos of a corner wine rack I designed and built for a very special person in my life.
It is built out of solid walnut with a Spicy Walnut stain and lacquered.
My woodworking experience is mostly at an amateur level, but I do enjoy visualizing a project in my
mind to fill a need. I then play around with crude drawings and sketches until I have a basic
dimensional idea. As construction progresses I make changes that appeal to me.
I built the wine rack for my girlfriend after much resistance from myself. She wanted a corner
rack but had no idea what it should look like. I built it as a Christmas present. She had no idea
what it was going to look like and she actually cried when she saw it for the first time. The top is
removable in case she wants to put it somewhere else. All I have to do in that case is build a top
to suit.
