A Two Minute Safety Tip
While working in the shop one day I discovered that I failed to run one 6 inch piece through the
router table while it was set up for those pieces.I figured it was ONLY one little piece so why
waste 2 whole minutes to reset the router table. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!! I now sport a newly-acquired 3
sided scar on the top half inch of my left hand ring finger.
People, please, take whatever time that's needed
to set up and operate your tools safely. The 2 minutes I tried to save ended up costing me a whole
bunch more time than what it would have taken to set up the router table 20 times. PLEASE WORK
SAFELY. IT DOESN’T HURT AS MUCH OR TAKE AS LONG.
