Here are some photos of a few canoe paddles I made.
I'm a veterinarian and
novice woodworker and am enjoying moving my skills from exclusively power
tools to more hand tools. The paddles are all made and finished to be used
on the water. I got started with a strip built canoe and now make these as
gifts and donations for fundraisers.
These paddles are all made from
mostly scraps around my shop and from some furniture makers I know. Most
of the cedar, heart pine, and cypress is reclaimed wood from old barns
around Lake Murray, South Carolina.
