I began carving animals from wood when an art project at the end of 12th grade (1976) was sculpture. I hated that orange clay on my hands so I rummaged through a drawer in the art room and found an X-acto knife and some wood. I carved animals for my project and never looked back!
I love all things miniature and was so happy to discover that I could make my own dollhouse miniatures and carve beloved pets. I also love micro tiny. When a friend showed me some carved toothpicks in a magazine I knew I could do that!
I now live in my dream home in the beautiful Southeast Ohio countryside.
