The main attraction will be Roy making shavings and magic using what he calls his carbon-neutral, alcohol-powered reciprocating lathe for bowl and spindle turning. You may get a chance to try it yourself! See how to start with a tree and use traditional tools to make mechanical marvels of maple and persimmon! You'll learn traditional table-frame construction, dovetailing, moulding-making, as well as the elusive miter-ended-breadboard-bracket-clamped desktop!
