Safety Tip: Cutting Plywood
When cutting plywood on the table saw, I find that rehearsing the cut all the way through with the blade down is very helpful. It alerts me to how to support the overhanging sheet and where the cutoffs will end up beyond the blade as well as getting a feel for the weight of the piece as I push it through. It results in fewer surprises during a cut. I recommend it.
