Here's My Workshop!

I started my own shop about 6 years ago for a hobby for my retirement. It is located in Hartsville, TN. It is a 24x24 garage that I use only one side of for the shop. I still like to work on my car at times so I keep one side open for that. The band saw, router table clamp rack and sanders are on mobile bases so I can move them around as I need.

I started woodworking when I was a young boy in my Dad's shop. I always enjoyed working with wood mostly for the satisfaction of making something with my hands.

As you can see I make most of them on the fly and in my own head.To keep wood cost down, I use a lot of poplar wood with stain. When I can I use cherry wood and walnut.I have made a lot of furniture, clocks, jewelry boxes and lamps mostly for our home and for relatives.
