Attend Fox Chapel Publishing's Open House Extravaganza
in Lancaster, PA May 8-9, 2015
Fox Chapel's Open House is a mecca for carvers, scrollers, turners, and woodworkers of all
sorts. The two-day show includes more than 30 classes (lecture and hands-on) with
well-known instructors and authors, including Wayne Barton, Rick Jensen, Floyd Rhadigan,
Carole Rothman, and Barry Gross.
You'll participate in ongoing hands-on demonstrations in
carving, turning, scrolling, and crafts, and shop with a wide variety of vendors. Open
House takes place at the
Rough & Tumble Engineers' Historical Museum
, a fascinating outdoor museum dedicated to steam engines,
antique tractors, old machinery, and artifacts of America's industrial history.
You'll see
two operating steam trains, the oldest internal combustion engine still operating in North
America, a steam-powered saw mill, antique cars, and much more. The show takes place May
8-9, 2015 in Lancaster, Penn.
