I'm a hobbyist woodworker from Oklahoma. I started woodworking in 2011 and have been building my shop ever since.
My shop is my 2-car garage, 20' x 20' with a 9' x 16' tandem nook in the back where I will have my future Split Top Roubo. I like the shop to be organized and I'm constantly thinking of ways to improve efficiency in my shop. I built all the base and wall cabinets in my shop and everything has its own place. I know exactly where everything is at all times because I keep my shop very clean. All of the large machines are connected to a Laguna 2hp Cyclone Dust Collector via 6" Nordfab ducting, with a total of 3 drops and 5 blast gates. All of my smaller tools are
Festool
which are always used with the Festool Dust Collectors.
Half of my projects over the last few years have been shop projects and the other half have been furniture projects for my house. I'm looking forward to the coming years and what my small home shop can produce. My next project will be installing the
Benchcrafted Split Top Roubo Hardware
that I recently bought from Highland Woodworking.
