A Little Vacation Time
The Down To Earth Woodworker is going to take a little time off to get some outdoor chores done. I will miss my shop, and you, but I will be back full swing in August with a brand new column, the wrap up to the "Wood Movement" piece, and a new project video series.
I'm lobbying hard for the good folks at Highland Woodworking to run a "Best Of…" column in the July issue of "Wood News Online." There are some favorite articles from the past few years that you might have missed and that I would love to see run again. Be sure to check out next month's "Wood News Online" and see what they chose as "best."
This month's video
wraps up the Bath Vanity project with dovetail drawer boxes made on my new
Leigh D4R Dovetail Jig
. If you have a lot of drawers or boxes to make, this is the tool/jig you need, and the video shows you what to expect when you set the jig up and cut your first dovetail joints.
As always, thank you for reading. See you in August!
