Building a box with shelves is pretty straightforward if you know a few simple procedures and have
access to a few inexpensive tools. In this beginners' class, you'll learn about carcass design and
build a modern design bookcase with a hardwood frame measuring 4' tall x 30" wide. Upon completion
of the class you'll take home your very own bookcase ready for finishing. Tuition includes all

bought one and decided to try it. My first project was to take the 3/4 inch blade and resaw a piece
of 13 inch by 2 inch quarter sawn oak. First I measured off the lines and placed them on the wooden
